What's the over/under on how many games Vick lasts?  Or McCoy/Jackson for that matter?  This system will never work in the NFL over the course of a season and my guess is that their days of 30+ points are numbered.

Chip Kelly could get away with it at Oregon because they only play 13 games (only more recently 14 games with the PAC12 championship) over the course of 21 weeks.  And in 5-6 of those games, his starting skill players are on the bench for most of the 4th quarter because it's a blow out.  He also had the luxury of 85 scholarship players (as well as quality walk ons) as compared to a 53 man roster.  In the NFL, if you want to make the playoffs, you're going to play 17 games (assuming you only play one game in the playoffs) in 18 weeks.  Possibly up to 20 games in 22 weeks if you make it to the SB as a wild card.  That's not even including the pre season.  Hits are bigger in the NFL, and RARELY do you ever get the chance to bench your starters because of a blow out.

It's not like we're talking about Cam Newton, Adrian Peterson, and Calvin Johnson in this offense.  Guys big enough to not only absorb hits, but dish them out.  All of Philly's skill players are either average or below average in size.

The offensive line is better this year, and I think the quick plays Chip calls will help. I'm not a Vick hater either, I really do think he's trying hard to put his past behind him. So 10 games just because I also believe in unicorns

Not a Vick hater either...to me he's just another football player.  I really hope he plays the whole season, but I think Kelly will have to tone down the offensive pace and adjust the play calling if that's going to happen.  I think he's out to prove a point these first few weeks.  His style does have a time and place...but maybe on a few drives a game.  Sort of like how Peyton Manning will randomly go no huddle for a series even if they aren't behind or pressed by the clock.  But I don't think it's something that will last if he tries to do it all game, all season.  Even if his players avoid injury, the cardio toll it takes on his players both offense and defense (because he'll likely lose the TOP battle) is going to catch up with him if he expects his players to perform in the playoffs.

I hate being a Browns fan. I had so much hope 12 days ago and now I have 7 more home games that I have to try to find some other idiot to go with me. Not only do I have the sunk cost of the tickets I already bought, but now after being only to stomach a quarter of that awful football I will find myself walking to up to the casino to blow even more money. Why can't I just quit?

As always I'm waiting for next year. I just didn't think it would happen this early. The rest of you enjoy your NFL seasons.

And now that y'all unloaded Trent Richardson.......you'll have 2 First Rounders next year.

Don't pull a Jerry Jones and draft dumb.

I read that now you guys are doing your own suck for luck campaign. It's goign to be tought to be worse than Jacksonville though. If you guys do nail down the #1 pick and grab Bridgewater and then still have another pick in the 1st, that should be pretty helpful as long as your GM doesn't suck.

While I don't really hate the move as a fan and understand what they are doing, it just really sucks in week 2, especially when a lot of people saw the Browns as a team on the rise this year.

It's hard to have faith in your GM when he doesn't even show up for the press conference announcing the franchises biggest move since he took over. CEO Joe Banner and HC Chud were answering the questions, Lombardi wasn't in the room.

I've got to focus on work now so I don't puke.

Just try to be positive. If Indy somehow sucks and misses the playoffs you could have 2 top 15 picks. If yuo suck bad enough you could have the #1 pick and grab Clowney and then wait for Manziel or something at 15. Not a bad trade if you can swing something like that.

Well, it's always good, but now it's fantastic.  I'm not trying to think about the not too distant future when we have to rebuild again.  But Elway wants to win, so I think he will bust his butt to build solid teams.  Plus Osweiler showed some stuff in preseason that impressed me.

I hope my fellow BSU alum Clady isn't injured too bad. He's an awesome guy and a great LT. If he is I'd worry about that O-line. It will almost be as bad as Seattle's!

Not in the stars.  OFTY...  sucks.

Our LT Okung has a strained muscle in his toe and there is no idea when he will be back. It sucks.
