Run
Comments: After taking about 10 weeks off of running completely for a foot injury, and just starting back wo weeks ago, I wasn't in shape to "race" this or challenge my PR, so just decided to run it as part of my long run for the week. Perhaps even walk. We started further abck than usual since it was a fun run, and it's so crowded back there the first two miles are basically dodging people, and hard to go any faster than 9:30 miles or so, which was our first mile split. Annie and I just ran together at a fairly easy but steady pace. We did work the last two miles a bit harder, and we negative split every mile but the last where we kind of shuffled up the hill. Came around the last bend, just happy to be under an hour at this point. Time for a PR later, but it was actually nice finishing this race refreshed for a change :) What would you do differently?: not get injured in the fall? Post race
Warm down: Walked around, grabbed a water and a little food, walked to the gym to pick up my phone, then all the way down to south redondo, i.e. back where we just ran to, to meet my wife fior breakfast. 3 miles walked after the run. oofa. that hurt more. Last updated: 2014-02-03 12:00 AM

Went to Peets for the traditional coffee and oatmeal, hooked up with Annie for the drive to the start.
Walk from the top of the hill to the bottom, probably a mile.... Run to the gym to drop off phone in the lockers.
