X-Lab Wings, love em or hate me. think i am about to purchase one, need extra hydration on top of storage due to my old saddle bag giving way. what are yalls thoughts?
I love my X-Lab wing. I can't imagine not having a couple of bottles behind my seat. Although I'm swapping it out soon because my new Fizik saddle has them built in to it. Also, for what it's worth, a lot of people have been very impressed with X-Lab's customer service as well.
I like mine. Last year was the first year I had wings and I got used to them pretty quickly. I liked having the bottles behind me and out off the bike frame tubes.
like mine. special ones for Adamo saddle so heads up if you use Adamo ISM saddles
Which one do you need to get for an Adamo saddle?
I just bought a Carbon Wing and it fits my Adamo Prologue without issue. Solid construction and good design - I am happy with it. Pricey, but cool-looking. And nothing screams "triathlete" in quite the same way (for good or ill).

i think they all fit for the adamo, but you wont be able to fit a bag in the "storage" area because of the lip for racking your bike in transition. i think i read somewhere that you can just turn the wing upside down to fix the issue.

Gotcha- thanks!
no problem, i actually have a wing in the mail to me right now since i have learned that the bulk of my long riding will be on my TT bike this year. i'll respond if i find anything contradictive to my earlier post.
With the recent move to mounting a water bottle onto your aero bars to save on drag I decided to look at a similar setup. Here are the results of my testing of this hydration setup.
