Comments:

Goal was to run 8:15 miles to break a 8 year old PR of 1:16:33. The beginning miles were congested. Once things thinned out a bit, I started opening it up a bit. Got into a realy groove around mile 4 and started pushing, ended up breaking PR by almost 1:45 and also broke 75 minute barrier

nothing, almost a perfect race

Event comments:

One of my favorite races, have been running it for 8 years now. Everyong should give this one a try if they can. One of the best organzied races I ahve ever run

Hey nice work at the Boilermaker. Looks like you crushed that PR time. I was there too and I agree that it's just an awesome race. The congestion at the beginning might even help by easing you into the race so you have lots of gas left for when it gets interesting on the downhill portion. Who knows? It's just a little theory I thought up this morning.
