Run
Comments: This was an easy race to get to, parking, etc. Good price, too. I'd recommend it if you don't need all the foofaraw. I got there about a half hour early, parked pretty close and had plenty of time for a potty break. This race is not chipped timed, you get the gun time and they write down your number as you finish. So, I am going with my watch time because I started back from the front. I started out far too quickly, on the uphill part of the course, and the sun was out. By the time I hit the turn, for the downhill/shady part, I was already toast. I always question why I signed up whenever I run a 10k. I was glad to be done! Knowing I had also signed up for the 5k, I walked back to my car to grab my sunglasses and a paper towel. I was sweating like crazy and my eyes were burning. On the way to the car, I seriously questioned whether I'd be able to convince myself to walk back for the next race. I was grateful for the post/pre-race banana and Propel they were giving out after the 10k. What would you do differently?: OH, where to start? Post race
