Kid schedule snuck up and ended my 10+ mile per day run streak at 110 days in the middle of the month, but still far more than a typical run month for me.

January's totals
Run: 45h 21m 12s - 284.05 Mi

Streak total was 1185.77 miles in 110 days.

Wow. Nice!

How did the body hold up to that mileage?

223 miles of running.  Was planning on more- but I'm battling some knee pain.  First time in a year.  Might be a seasonal thing, running in the cold?  as it hit me the same time last year, but this time i wasn't ramping up the miles.  Just trying to hold steady.  Or, may have had something to do with switching over to trail running, as it's trail season.

Much better than I would have expected. I ramped up my miles over the summer and it probably bears noting that I've been job hunting, so my schedule was much more flexible than normal. Never could have done it with a full time job, but it did wonders for my stress level.

I also gave myself credit for a full 10 miles on a treadmill run that was only 7.5 due to running a fever of 102 earlier that day.

I had nagging issues that I had to keep an eye on - swelling at he base of my toes on my right foot that I was afraid might sideline me, sore right knee off and on, etc., but for the most part

I'm still at it since having to miss a couple days a few weeks back, but a new job is going to reduce my workout time quite a bit. I might go back to throwing in some bike and swim workouts. Will have to see.

Had an awesome January. It was a race month so volume was down (Due to taper and recovery) and the race was a solid performance to kick off the year.

Swim: 3h 25m 04s - 11,000 Meters
Run: 38h 26m 22s - 300.33 Miles
Total: 41h 51m 26s
