Pre-race routine:

Pretty standard routine pizza at mellow mushroom (maui wowie) and some hummus. Morning was steel cut oats, banana, and coffee. Made it to park an hour early, picked up chip, and setup transition.

Just hung back trying to hold a 7:00/mile pace, let everyone pace themselves. didn't want to blow up prior to the bike.

Was a little rough going into transisition, thought i dressed out ok but at top of hill i realized that i had forgotten my gloves, good thing i had taped hand warmers to the end of my aerobar.
