Milton 2015 Race Report

Here is my race report from Milton last weekend.

55 men in my 5 year age group! I got crushed!! ;-)

Some odd organisational items that I dont really explain well in the report.

1) The big 'Run Course' banner/arch was on the east side of transition but the run goes out of the west side.

2) Virtually no marshals visible on the course. Runners could easily decide to trim the course (esp. at the Appleby Line end of the run).

3) Porta potties I guess were placed so people could go before the swim, but you had to cut right across the swim exit to get to them.

4) Some run sections feautred large loose rocks and poor surfaces.

5) I guess there were a lot of late entries.

I should not focus on the negative. Its a great site and tons of fun. This again just counts as a learning event for me and I took tons away from it to improve on. I think the course has the perfect setup for being sufficiently challenging for everyone there.
