Okay, so I really took alota time off from training so here's a new challenge! Not sure I can make it to 100 miles without injuring myself but I'm gonna aim high and get my butt back in gear!

1.5 miles in so far!

Anyone and everyone is welcome to join me, lazy bones people included, hehehe.

I'm in. About 13 miles so far. If I don't get my butt in gear, I'll have to go down to the HM next month. I'm ok with that but I really did want to see the new course in it's entirety so I'm still trying to at least be prepped enough to not suffer tooooooo much.

Jamie, Tallahassee Marathon which is local for me. I have a tendency to not strive as hard for local races since I don't have as much money invested. And although the mary is a new course this year, it still using other race routes that I do year after year therefore no "real" new scenery. But TBH, those are all excuses because I've just been lazy and haven't been training like I should. We have a plan to hit multiple HM and 10K Feb-May so I'm just not finding it in myself to go on those long, long runs.

This shouldn't be a problem.
I am planning to run at least 89 miles (144 km) and max.134 miles (216 km) this month.

I am already 11 miles (18 km) in.

I'm in, but I have to admit that this is peak month for HM training, so I should hit 100 early. Of course, if I don't, things could get ugly on Feb 7th.

21+ with 11 miles on tap for tomorrow.

1/10 - 41 miles in.

This week will be tough. Buffalo, NY Lake Effect snows and sub zero temps. Local news says we will measure snow in feet not inches!!

Bah, I'll be fine.

Today is an off day, but I am sitting at 37+ at the moment. Hopefully this week goes according to plan. If so, I'll be around 62.

How is everyone doing? Has the cold started putting a crimp in anyone's plans?

I am sitting on 42,5 miles now, I guess this really shouldn't be a problem (if I don't get injured etc.)

The cold is not really a problem, but I had some serious headwinds yesterday, at a few points I thought I would have to resort to walking..., but it was fun.

DeVinci, you are slaying it! Love your sig line too.

51.4 miles for me. Maybe I'll make it to 100 this month but I'm not sure. I will try tho.

I did decide today to drop down to the HM at Tally. I could do the full but it would be foolish, cocky, and disrespectful to the sport. So instead, I'm in HM shape so I'll do the HM and be happy. And, I'll be honest, Tally marathon is more of a socializing day for me since my fit friends come to Tally instead of me going to them or meeting up somewhere else. So afterwards, I'll get to hang out with my buds instead of them leaving 3 hours before I finish.

I'm at 35 miles this month so far. I've been focusing on swimming, so running is kind of taking a back seat.

Strong work indeed!

Devinci's killin it!

I'm at 51 after a nasty cold kept me out of the game for over a week. I'll hit 100 for the month, but I was hoping for more. What can you do? Sometimes the bug going around the office finds it's way into your system. Still hacking up a bunch of garbage from my chest but at least I can run while I do it

I think quite truly for the first time I 'get it'. It's not just about the fitness. It's not just about the great little endorphin rush as you hit 5, 10, 15 miles...its not just the medal at the end.
