Hey BT!  Happy Monday...wait, is there such a thing?

Up super early again--have to go back in to SLC for some appointments.

4:15am:  20 minute run

4:35am:  :30 min Military Fit Plus--mostly core

What a great weekend of racing--congrats on solid finishing times!

Off to eat and hit the road--I'll be getting in to Salt Lake at prime commute time.  My regular commute from home to school is 45 seconds!

Have a great day!

Anything about Jamie's race? (I don't see it on BT. Don't for FB so not sure about that.) Just 3500m of swimming here. New appreciation for workouts that don't involve overheating. Off to bed now!

Just popping in really quick on a crappy wifi network to say I'm alive, still in the desert, and have never felt more alive! Here's the short race report: Imagine holding your feet up to a belt sander for 14 hours with a big smile at the end. Long race report to come!! Lots of love to everyone!

I did a run through the softly falling snow. The snow is mostly off the sidewalks so I started my hills today.

I did a nice 4 mile run. My workouts remain very intermittent. I did get the new hospital open and we are beating projections so far. However my counterpart at the other psych hospital in OKC left the company and now I get to run two hospitals. I don't get home at a good time and am wiped out from work. I have to get back in the routine and keep working out. If nothing else I need the stress release. I also need to get ready for the summer triathlon circuit.

Congrats Jamie - love the description!
Lake - wow, that's a brutal schedule!

Today was a normal Monday - which I was very thankful for since being on vacation. Love vacation, but I love my routine too!

8:45am - 15 min elliptical
9:30am - 45 min spin class

10:30 - 45 min ST - really going to try to hit the weights more regularly!

Hope you had a good trip Kim!

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.

I have been able to swim 200-300 yards without stopping for the past couple of weeks, but this morning I couldn’t swim more than 50. Could not eating make a big differance?

This is not an easy task, especially for the “9-to-5er” with family. But you can do it – all without sacrificing your marriage, job or family.

Once you caught your breath, it occurred to you that finishing even a short triathlon might be harder than you thought. After a few "laps" you thought, "I can't believe I'm so out of shape."
