1. How do you feel physically?
2. How is your fatigue level?
3. How different was the OLY from the distance volume you are doing in current training?
4. How different was the OLY from the paces you are currently training?
The reason I ask is that if you are feeling decent and aren't fatigued AND your race wasn't too out of line from current distances and pace, then just head back into training.
I've done shorter races during training for HIM and IM events and most of the time went right back into my swim and bike and then by the end of the week was back on schedule for run too. |
