Subject: RE: 11.15.16 Tuesday Training! Starting to worry about clothes..... I've actually gained 5 pounds without taking any time off, just lower volume (about 8-9 hours a week compared to 15-16 in peak HIM training ). Could care less (the way I'm built, no one else would notice until I gained another 10 pounds or so ), but I can't afford to buy/make a new wardrobe! And since I design most of my work clothes and have the tailor make them, they tend to be "tailored"--not loose stuff. I have been doing a lot of strength training so telling myself it's all muscle, but actually have no idea. So far everything still fits, but a few things are getting tight around the arms. Maybe it IS muscle??
I guess no need to worry--cross-country season starts next week so I'll be on my feet several more hours a week; less time to loll on the couch.
Anyhow, fell asleep early again last night. AM: 65 minute trainer ride with some pickups at HIM pace or just under
PM: 30 minutes of strength routine, including 3X the evil stability ball transfer crunches. Whatever weight I've gained, it's not stomach flab with those going on! Edited by Hot Runner 2016-11-15 4:12 PM
