Good morning BT!

4:45am:  35 minute run: main set 6X 7% incline sprints

5:15ish:  45 minutes 5X5 strong lift

Later @ 5pm: kids bootcamp

Karen...I hope you're able to get going as planned today!  And by the way, I vote for your parents to go to Boise!  I love Boise--plus I have some good friends there and visit often!  Maybe one day our paths could cross!  lol!

Have a great day all!

2000 yard time trial swim this am

45 minute EZ run scheduled for this evening.

Gearing up for massive snow storm here in the Atlanta area tomorrow. Calling for 1-3 inches, stores shelves are barren, everybody buckling down for what is to come.

No workouts today(or tomorrow--lose a day in transit) except jogging through airports! We managed to get to the airport this AM--most exciting part was getting out of our driveway (if you could see where we lived, you'd understand why). Once down to the valley floor, the roads were in pretty good shape. Now in San Francisco, boarding flight to Tokyo (and then on to Saigon) in about an hour and a half.

Boise seems a nice enough place. It's just that I've called Oregon home for almost 30 years, and Boise's COLD in winter! Have never been a fan of cold weather--I can train in it, but honestly just don't like the whole winter experience--having to think about how many layers of clothes I need, being cold and sweaty when running, shoveling snow, trying to start cars, worrying about black ice, scraping ice from windshields, etc. etc.

10:40 - 50' strength

Pretty cold here, but not awful. Looks like we'll miss snow, which is good. Can't imagine what some snow does to Atlanta - if it's anything like Nashville, it'll be a total clown show.

Be safe out there.

I'm on the other side of the college-student desk. I'm the one with the red pen in my hand. Those of us with schedules that change from day to day actually have an advantage, I think.
