Subject: 1.12.17 Thursday workouts!

Good morning BT!

4:15am:  1:30 on the bike trainer--main set 6X 6:00 of some tough intervals...loved it but I'm weird like that!

5:45am:  :15 minutes of core

Later:  Teaching boot camp

Donto...that's hilarious!  Thanks for a good laugh to start the day.  That's how most people react to my early morning training!

We got dumped on with snow AGAIN last night!  I realize many regions of the country have it much worse...but I'm in desert!  I don't know if I've ever seen it snow as much in the 20 years I've lived here!

Went to lunch a bit early so I could attend an awful phone conference. Turns out, I forgot to register for the conference. What a shame . . .

Glad it gave you a chuckle!

Took the dog for his AM walk, did a strength WO and then jumped on the trainer for a 35' tempo interval WO.  Not the best idea after doing squats and straight leg deadlifts but I hammered through it.

Tough training day--sore all over!

5 AM: 1:15 trainer ride with "VO2 Max" intervals. Basically, pedaling as hard as I can go until I feel like I'm going to die. It was quite a wake-up!
4:30 PM: 3000m of swimming; mostly sprint sets. Supposed to be working on "speed" (such as it is), so at least there was plenty of rest.
