Friday: AM 40 minute run with some short tempo pickups. Doesn't sound bad by itself, but I did a hard 90-minute trainer ride Thursday evening. Ouch!
PM: 3000m of swimming, mostly 200's swim and pull sets.
Slept well last night--good as up early for a 2-hour run. Extremely humid but got it in before heat became truly unbearable. Headed to pool for a short (20-30 minute ) easy recovery swim.
One of my peak training weeks (14+ hours, I think ) for a HIM in late June and work has been super-busy as well--it's been an uphill battle to get it done; one day (long trainer ride ) to go. Recovery week next week--definitely needed! |
