What limited your ability to perform faster:

I started struggling around mile 18 and then really was hurting at 22 on.

Event comments:

I've done this Indy race twice now. It is incredibly flat and a beautiful course for most of the way with fall foliage. It is well-organized, easy to access, and a fun town. My only complaint is there is a stretch that is pretty depressing around 19-21. The roads are also a little rough and you really need to watch your step.

Course: flat course. First 17 or so are beautiful, then they get pretty ugly. Roads were full of potholes and I really had to watch footing on way home.

Good job getting it done!  I have only done 2 marathons, but don't they all hurt from 22 (or sooner) on?     And if you mean literally hurt, I actually took an Aleve around that point.
