Comments:

Wow - they were predicting 6-8 inches of snow accumulation, but there was just a little bit on the path. I was worried about the wind, since it is right on lake Superior, but didn't have wind until the last mile of the race
What would you do differently?:

Run more during the week!

Drinking powerade, eating bananas, yogurt, and bagels

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Training at a slow pace

Event comments:

Great volunteers & aid stations, but could have had more encouragement the last mile - there wasn't anyone until the finish line

Guess I didn't check the forum enough.
I didn't know you were running otherwise we could have arranged something.
How about going the full distance next year for the 10th anniversary?

Nora, great race!!!  Sorry I didn't see you at the race.  Spent most of the weekend with the running group.  We had our spouses with us, so the whole weekend was planned!

Hope to see everyone at Minneman again this spring...

Thanks, everyone for your encouragments! I don't know that I'll do the full next year, but had a lot of fun training for the half.
