Well, first off, since it didn't mention that they had clothes for both genders, I naturally assumed that I was ordering Men's sizes. So, I got medium tri shorts because I've got a large behind, to say the least (J. Lo ain't got nothing on me). So, I slip on my medium women's shorts and think, I'm about to bust these things. So, I go look in the mirror and turn around and the shorts have a lower and upper panel, two different materials. Well, I turned around to see.... MY BUTT CRACK!!!! ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH! They are completely see through!

Now what? I thought that these were just overstocked, not triathlon gear for exhibitionists. I don't even know who to contact..... :-( Good thing I can sew.

OH NO KIM! hopefully there will be someone out there (maybe me) that ordered some shorts that were too large and could just switch. When I get my shorts/jersey, which i hope is soon, i'll let you know if i'd make a good trading partner... but hopefully they can be salvaged...

Y'all got stuff in? I thought you were going to say it was cheap because it was a scam.

Don't worry. It's not a scam. It's just see-through so you'll never actually wanna wear it. :-P LOL!

I'm so sorry Kim and everyone else. I had no idea the clothes were see through when I posted the ad. The clothes I have are black and I got to try them on, so I just picked the clothes that fit, I didn't see what the size difference was.
Sorry :-(

Well, maybe if you have a large sized pair the material won't be so stretched and hence, no butt crack. If that doesn't work, just look at it as a method of distracting your competitors!

I ordered a pair of large tri shorts. If they're too small for me, I can work something out with you.

Totally not your fault. When you get that little description, it's buyer beware. Luckily, I'm a fair seamstress, so I'm planning to just sew in a panel so I don't scare every single person who passes me. ;-) As for the size, well, as redbull said, if anyone has a pair that's too large, maybe we can work out a trade. If not, well, I CAN fit in them (can is not synomomous with should, but I don't have to see me! LOL!)

Anyhow, don't feel guilty. No one knew.... including you!

If it makes you feel better, my tri shorts are very tight. In fact, there's a little bit of the dreaded over/under fat hanging out. Oh well. I figure it's just extra compression and that my butt will be very well supported during the run.

Well, I have to say, though I felt that I was stretching the very molecules of the fabric, they did give my butt such support that I looked like rap video material. Enormous, gravity defying butt. LOL! Hopefully the seams are good.... :-O

Even with cycling clothes I have to take an XL or sometimes even an XXL. Regular T-shirts and stuff I wear a L; golf shirts I can fit into a M.

I think we need photographic evidence of these see-through properties!

Uhhhh, I don't remember. It was just sitting on my coffee table in a big padded envelope when I got home.

I got my new Duofold threads today, and now I see what you mean. Luckily I don't have a butt at all, so there's nothing to see when I try them on, but I still think I'll be self-conscious riding in these things, always wondering what people can actually see back there. I hope that all of your trades work out so that triathlons can stay rated PG.

LOL! Oh good, I was starting to wonder if they were only see through because I was stretching them so horribly. I'm going to sew in another layer of spandex to keep some measure of decency.

I got a pair of shorts (XL) and a shirt (XL). They seem to be sized very small. I have an older brand of bike shorts that are sized large. These new XL shorts are much smaller than the L shorts I already have. I'd be willing to trade either for a larger sized pair of shorts and/or shirt. If I don't get any takers, I'll probably just give them to my training partner. He's smaller than me and could probably get away with wearing them.

BTW, they were delivered UPS Ground. I ordered them almost two weeks ago.

Just a thought -- maybe good wicking underwear would be okay to wear under them. Of course, then you'd have VPL.

I'll take VPL over VAC any time! I think my package is being held hostage by the leasing office, but I'll get it tonight.

Glad to see that people are getting their packages. When I read the subject of the post, I thought for sure that I was out of $89. I will report back once I get them. I ordered everything in XL. If they are too small, I will let you guys know.

Can anyone tell me -

how they were shipped

where they came from

how long it took to get them

I ordered them on July 23rd, 2 weeks ago tomorrow and I live in Philly.
