Comments: Started off a bit too fast, but a hill toward the back of the first mile helped bring my pace under control. Only noteworthy item during mile 2 was stepping into a deep puddle which left me with a cold foot. Picked up the pace a a bit when I got to what I guessed was mile 2 (no markers that I saw). Couldn't tell where the finish was and I think I let up a bit in the last 1/2 mile because4 of that. When I finally saw the line, could see I was not going to break 20:00 and was easily going to break 20:30 so just cruised home. Happy with the time! What would you do differently?: Push a little harder toward the finish. Post race
Warm down: 10' jog through the parking lot. What limited your ability to perform faster: Willingness to push into more discomfort near the finish. No speed work. Last updated: 2006-11-23 12:00 AM

Shorter warm-up than planned due to the weather (heavy rain and wind). Ran for about 10' and did 3 sets of 30 strides. Rain let up just before the race started which was nice.
