Oh my!  I will have to record that -- thanks for the early FYI.  It'll take me a good day or two to hook up and test the VHS again.

VHS= Video History Saver. It is an antiquated device used to preserve (temporarily) historical television and movies. This media was used by late 20th century earth dwellers to record time wasting programs that prolonged their time on the couch. The unique qualities of this devise allowed couch potatoes to cram in 6 hours of mindless television into 4 hours of viewing time the device was commonly used in conjunction with nourishment products primarily Beer, Potato Chips, and Pop Corn.

Now we have the DVR and can cram 60 hours of sports into 40 hrs! Also in conjunction with above mentioned food and beverage.

I went to double-check my TiVo, and was pleased to see that the 12/9 Triathlon was on the "To Do List" (NBC).

Then, for kicks, I checked the "Upcoming Episodes" list, and saw that there's Triathlon airing on 12/10, 12/11, and 12/12 (all on Versus)--but there was no listing detail. Anyone know what these races are? Or, are they just re-airing of the 12/9 race?

Edit: Never mind, the 12/10, 12/11, 12/12, and 12/19 are all airings of the Ford Ironman Florida race.

I've got the VCR set already. Last year I accidentally taped 3am - 5am CST, so I got a rerun of Conan O'Brien instead of the best 90 minutes of TV all year.

I can't wait to see the show.  I was at Walgreens on Sunday and while there was thinking I needed to buy a VHS tape to record the show, before realizing that it isn't on until Saturday.

Have the tissues ready as Blazeman should be featured in some of the coverage (a lottery winner- Brian Breen- was racing to raise money for ALS Research and is a part of Team Blazeman)

just as a heads up, IF there is a football game on before the IM, you may want to extend your time on the DVR or on your VCR cause it's almost certain that that the football game will go long and could push back the IM coverage.

What was CoreDumps number and what was he wearing?  Maybe we can spot him if he gets a couple of seconds on.

My friend made the IM Moo broadcast.  For about 5 seconds.

I was (am) number 1482.

I was coming back off the out and back up Ali'i as the Women PROs were coming in, and passed them going the other direction as they were making the final turn onto Ali'i.

I looked like this:

for clarification: "Joker" is on Pacific time. 4pm on east coast.

IM Florida will be on Versus tomorow. (even though the coverage won't be nearly as good as NBC, it's still pretty sweet)

Even though I already know how all these people did, it's still great to watch.  NBC really does a great job.
