Run
Comments: Yuck. Everything was bouncing and sloshing around in my stomach. I survived without yacking. Shockingly I ran it pretty fast. And based on my guestimated time of 5 minutes, I was the closest to my actual time. However, as race director I felt it improper to take everyone's money. What would you do differently?: A few thousand less calories pre-race? Post race
Warm down: Went inside. What limited your ability to perform faster: I had no concept of time. Event comments: As a first time race organizer, I couldn't be happier than how this went. All of our neighbors who were outside thought we were crazy. They're probably right. Last updated: 2007-01-01 12:00 AM

Made a pot of chili and some bacon wrapped venison waiting for everyone to show up. Then began the (de)hydration and gorging on all kinds of stuff. Besides the chili and venison, there were brownies, chocolate covered Oreo balls, chocolate covered cookie dough, some kind of cheese biscuits with sausage (Laurie swore up and down that was all they had, but I'm not so sure), something that I guess would be called sushi, I think there was an egg roll too. And plenty of liquid calories. I probably had more stuff to eat, but I don't remember.
What I do remember is that the other 2 teams in Cranium put up as much resistance as the Aggie defense in the Holiday Bowl. Derek and I dominated.
Explained the rules to everyone, then it was off to the races.
