Subject: Future Tri ???

Our city is also going to be building a new aquatic center. I told the mayor (an avid hiker, cyclist and author on the subjects) that we should do a triathlon for its grand opening. He thinks its a great idea.

Guess I'm committed now... 18 months should be enough time don'tcha think?

Hey Desert.

Where are you in New Mexico? If you're close to Colorado (even if you're not) I'd be interested in going to your tri to support you. Maybe we can get a whole Colorado contingent down there?

I'm in Gallup (4-corners area) and might be a little far for those of you on the Front Range, but I'll definately keep you guys informed. At this point I'm still driving by waiting for them to break ground, but city hall says it should be soon. Like I said...plenty of time....
