Wow!  Giver!

I'm not sure if I'm going to "race" it or just what.  I would love to hit 48 minutes, but I'm not sure.  We'll see what happens.  Hubby is going to "tempo" it.  Must be nice to "tempo" your way to 37 minutes.

Geez, I can't tempo anything for that time unless I am driving! I am in the Sun Run tomorrow, should be fun! A city filled with people, all goming together for one day with one common goal...to slow me down!

Hey!  Have fun at the Sun Run  I have yet to do that one.  I'm not good with crowds...hahahaha.

Dr. Leah, your training looks intense!  Who cares about speed anyway, right?  I just might see ya at XTC in Campbell River.

Had an awesome race, 41:30, new PB for me in the 10km distance, on a super tough hilly course. I am pumped right now. My "A" race for running is the TC 10km which is 2 weeks out and I feel more ready than ever. Should be good!!!!

Nice job! How'd the race go for you Busygirl?

How was the Sun Run Hazmaster? Anyone else here do it? I ran it, did a PB as well in 37:20ish - that was the clock time so maybe take off a few seconds for chip time.

Wooohoo!  awesome job!  I was trying to pick out which dude you might have been racing past as I slogged out my 51 somethin' minutes.  Not a stellar time for me, but I sure had fun.  It's a tough course, but it is just soooo beautiful!

Good luck with the TC!

Another superb perfprmance!  Holy crap.  Maybe if I stick around here long enough the "fast vibes" just might rub off and help me get faster

Hazmaster!  How did it go?

Crap!  You guys are making me feel lazy for skipping the Sun Run and doing a LSD (for me) of 8k in 52:00.

You guys (and girl) are crazy fast!

VanCity are you kidding me? That is a great time, what were you using for a watch though? That is a whicked time! No wonder I never saw you guys! I was in at 42:21 by my watch, was 2 mins over my goal, but whatever, it was a fun day with a whole lot of good looking people in Lulu Lemon. Wow, is that ever a great product Good job to everyone else in that took part, what a great turn out!

Hey from what I've heard busygirl, that is a pretty tough run with a hill or two , 51 is a great time, I'm thinking of trying that run next year since I made (hopfully) my goal of placing in the top 1000. Man that still sucks, 1000 people beat me? Bummer!

Thanks, Hazmaster!  Yup, it is one of the hilliest courses around.  The last time I ran it,I was able to squeeze a 50 minute sumthin'.  But I just about puked that time!  This time I felt strong the whole way, and finished smiling.  It wasn't the time I wanted, but I didn't dig deep enough to push for it.  All in a days work.

SOunds like you guys had an awesome time at the Sun Run.  Kudos to you for placing in the top 1000!  Not an easy task.  You should definitely run Sooke next year

I wouldn't consider that a "bummer" at all! Man, there were over 54,000 people running it, that means there were 53,000 people behind you! Way to go! Very respectable time!
