Was it a care that was blocking? I just thought that it was due to increased traffic on Old Trenton road combined with OLY bike traffic. That was a rough one. I left at 945 and probably live 5 mins from there. I was home at 11am Not much you could do about it. My only suggestion is that next year they force people to go right only there. That would have at least helped the situation...not totally, but couldnt hurt. Not much else they can do....I thought about it for about an hour

someone racing parked their car at the ONLY exit at the back of the lot. The tow truck they called couldn't position itself to even tow it out. After waiting in the same spot for over 30 minutes without moving I went back towards the ranger station exit and I went right around (over the grass) the Park Ranger pickup truck that was blocking the exit to the right of the Olympic bike dismount line and went out to Old Trenton Rd. One of the volunteers told me that the last Olympic distance riders had just finished their 2nd loop past the park entrance and to go for it.

Someone should have gotten the make and model (or plate #) of the car

Don't know if this is the place for this, but I thought the volunteers were great.  There were lots of them, and all very nice and helpful.  Thanks!

Great race all around - the volunteers were helpful and numerous, I really enjoyed the pre-race on-going announcements and such to keep the mood lively.  The moment of silence at the start was moving and a heartfelt touch.

The last quarter mile of the run, and the crowds and finish chute was exhilarating ... not to mention hearing my name (pronounced CORRECTLY - WOW) as I finished.

This is on my must-race list from now on.  Thanks for a class act and a great race.  (Maybe OLY next year for me!)
