can someone summarize this entire thread for me... I read the first page and then hurried to the last, but I don't have time to read it all...

someone tell me, did they go on a date, and how did it go!!  and no, I don't have anything better to do than read CupOfJoe before I go to work, LOL!!

In summary

girl met guy, girl likes guy. Guy might like girl.  Flirt.  Guy jokingly asked for a good night kiss.  Girl freaked.  Slammed door on guy's face.  Guy embarrassed, backed off.  Girl embarrassed, tried to fix thing.  Sent email to guy to explain.  Guy might have taken the email wrong.  Akward situation.  Girl consulted BT.  Plugged up courage to call guy, asking to meet and to talk things out.  That will be Thursday. 

In the mean time, the BT consulting team is waiting (im)patiently for Thursday, and discussions continued, with topics from "what should girl say" to "should they kiss" to "what should girl wear". 

I guess that pretty much covers the 6 pages as of now. 

Oh no - there are too many pages here.  How am I going to know when she posts details of the date if it gets buried in 10 pages?  I guess I'll just have to keep reading them all.

hilarious! I too have been glued to this thread... now that I have actually posted, I'll know EXACTLY when it has been updated, and then I can drop everything and log on...

I live in KC but am actually heading through NEBRASKA tomorrow for business.  I volunteer to be the BT chaperone/spy.

Listen Kim you don't start watching "24" midway through season 3 and try to second guess why Jack Bauer spared a certain terrorist or whatever.   It's the same with "Love in Omaha - The Kiley and Joe Story" only the dedicated fans really know what is going on.

How freaked would Joe be if he knew he was the subject of this thread and now dozens (hundreds? thousands?) of BT fascination???

He could be horrified (bad...bad...), or he could be blown away in a good way (instant celebrity status, subject of national adoration, cameos on Letterman, Leno, etc).

You hit the nail on the head.  Let God be God and enjoy the ride!  I fell hard for my wife but didn't know what her feelings were.  When I gave it up, just acted like me, things feel into place.  We've had our ups and downs but that life baby!

Hey is this guy a triathlete?  Maybe you should go out on a workout together on Thursday.  A nice 30 mile ride or something.  I figure that would say a lot about a person.
