So who's excited about this race?  Me!!  My first all women's race and I'm really looking forward to it. Now if we can just get someone to work on that whole HOT thing on the weather chart....

Ok, I will take care of the HOT thing for you. Do you have a particular temperature in mind that I need to work toward or should I just pick one and go with that?

On, second thought I do not want to make it too cool. I am a little excited about being around a bunch of hot sweaty women myself!

I am VERY excited!!!  Mostly about having our names on our bibs- I think I've mentioned how cool that will be a few times today.  I'm not too worried about the temps...we can't exactly fix that.  Maybe Neal can bring a hose for us to run through.

Well personally I'd prefer low 70's with no humidity (my hair just hates the humidity).  But I suppose Neal with a water hose could do, too.  No wonder all you men are volunteering!!!

I deleted this one because I am such a gentleman. I thought it might be dropping juuuuust below the line of good taste.

David O'Rear, whose line is waaaaaaaaaay below my line of good taste, would have thought it quite amusing.

Oh I saw it   BT sends an email when threads are updated, but I'll be a gentle(r)woman and not publicly harass you for the comment.  I'm sure many men thought it, but only you would actually say it out loud!

I'll be there at the 1 mile water station...

Make sure you give a big wave, and good luck to everyone! The weather forecast already fixed itself, and now it's partly sunny. Sounds perfect to me.

I'll be there - although I'm not 100% clear about what I'll be doing during the race. I'll be a RYKA Mile Motivator, so look for me!

Josh, you obviously did not see the post earlier when I told Meredith that I would take care of the weather. Who do you think ordered cloudy weather to cool things down?

I think that was Courtney's idea, but she assigned me the job and I take it seriously. It is too late to take it back now.

This turned out to be a really fun race despite the sandbar in Lake Lanier and the Mega Death hill on the bike!  Thanks to all the volunteers who showed up and made this a fun/safe race for the rest of us.  And congrats to all the 1st triathletes in IronGirl!!
