Subject: RE: Hey Everyone...What an awesome website!A good rule of thumb  (that worked well for me anyway ) is to look at the training plans for whatever distance you would like to train for.  If you look at the amount of work that it takes on a daily/weekly basis and go "OMIGOD, I'm gonna' die.  I can't do that!"  Then yes, it may be too aggressive.  If on the other hand, your answer is along the lines of "Cakewalk" or "I could do that.  Not very quickly, but I could do that."  by all means GO FOR IT!
