Didn't eat a thing since dinner. Might have to try that and see what happens. Didn't feel bad or anything, but maybe some oatmeal would hekp me be better.

Nice race! Yeah if you were kicking on your back, that is quad burner! Did you wear goggles?  I found in dark murky lakes (not salty) not wearing goggles helped me not to freak out!   Try it out sometime.  Yeah don't pay too much attention to the heart monitor your adrenaline will make the rate high too! My heart rate before I even hit the water is like 120 from the nerves!

Congrats!  Sounds like it went well!  Not sure how you did it w/out eating anything in the morning though....that would kill me.  But I'm the opposite...I eat like a piggy before I race! 

Anyway....great job!  Now just stop being so dang social!
