Could you throw me on as the big man somewhere? As far as mileage, a bunch.

With a name like that I think you better be a Purple People Eater! Jump into the team thread and say Hi!

Count me in somewhere too, if there's still room!  Since I was third from DFL in the Mission Bay Tri run, I definitely need to improve my running.  Plus I'll be doing a 5k in Athens, Greece at the start of Nov. -- need to get ready for it!

Put me down for 30 miles.

Quick question tho -- do I get to count my walking as running, since I can't run full time yet?  If not, then the 30 should be more like 18 or 20...

Apologies for not replying to this before... as long as you state upfront what you are doing walking is fine... for example I use the run/walk method for my sessions but they all get logged as my run and thats just fine

A few injured people are using the elliptical... just be upfront in the beginning and its fine... otherwise there might be challenges from the other teams!

Why not? Any objection to going on a partly newbie team? the 'Things That Go Bump In The Night' team could do with a new member so just jump in and say Hi!!!

I'm going to be doing walk/run combinations.  I start out walking, try running, go back to walking, etc.

I realize this is really (really) late but if there is still room, I'd welcome the additional motivation.

Goal 60 miles

If not, I'll cheer on from the sidelines and look forward to the next one.

Hey, Cat, with all these wannabe runners popping up like spectres now, maybe they should all be on the Ghost team...but penalty points for lateness (can only count time after joining...

A 3 hour run?  Oh gee, that's inspirational.  (Even if you add shower time.)  Wow!

I'd better get RUNNING.  (Well, walking/jogging, anyway.

The Apples could probably take a new entry.  One of our team, Husker Tri Girl, hasn't been online.  (Her log is empty for the month, and she hasn't been posting on our Forum, beyond her initial intro post.)

Kagphin,
Can you move Trigirl10 over to the goblins and gargoyles team, she is my daughter and doesn't want me to trash talk her.  And I will trash talk her pretty bad if she is on a different team.  (You know those kids are pretty sweet, but some times they just can't take a mean ole dad.)

No problem... tell her to jump into your team thread and I will let the other team know!

Anybody need someone to round out their roster for this?  If so shoot me a PM please!  If not I will just run around aimlessly, crying to myself that nobody wants me.

I'm not sure how even we're trying to keep the teams, but if it's all good with everyone, I'd love to have another donkey on the Black Magic team.
