Comments:

I kicked ass...I mean, not podium kicking ass...but just personal kicking ass. ran first 7 miles at around an 8:05 pace. Kept thinking, I need to slow down or I will burn out...but I just felt good so kept going.
What would you do differently?:

Stopped at mile 7 to eat some sport beans...I don't think I needed them and it through off my pace.

I can't say enough good things about the Rock and Roll team...last year was the first san jose race and I was expecting it to be disorganized, but this group has their stuff together...So I was expecting great things this year...and was not disappointed. Very well run race.

Yay!!!  I'm so happy you had a good race today!  Kick me for forgetting that you were racing today, I was so caught up in the "get Cube moved" thing.  Sowwies!  But hey, you did awesome and I'm soooooo proud of you!!!

Don't feel bad...I didn't make a big deal out of the race, so didn't really put it out there much that I was racing.

Good job champ! I was trying to follow the pacer but the guy was going way too fast according to my Garmin watch. Oh well! I liked the race and everything went smoothly.

I noticed a few pacers who were off...but I don't think they were official pacers...the guy who was the 2:00 pacer was more at 1:45...
