 Run
Comments: The rain started about mile one and the down pour came at mile two. After that the rain was only annoying little showers. At about the two mile mark my IT band started to hurt and I had to slow up for a few miles and let it work itself out. Next came the uphill second half and that part kicked my butt! You have to plan and train for those hills. They are just relentless. What would you do differently?: This was my first half. I need to build my longrun up so I won't fade at the end.  Post race
Warm down: Hobled to the car. What limited your ability to perform faster: IT band and wet shoes. It felt like I was wearing steal toed boots. Event comments: This is a great race. It was nice to get some exercise before sitting around and eating all day. Last updated: 2007-10-01 12:00 AM

We parked own at Turner field and took MARTA up to the start. We had to run to the station and then run from the station to the start. We were about 4 minutes late, but it worked out.
