  • Comments: This really was a fun and enjoyable race. The after party on the beach is very nice. This race is well organized and a good size so that it is not a big production to get to the race and with so many hotels it makes it that much easier to just stay and enjoy the whole weekend. This year the weather was the most perfect weather I have ever had for a marathon.

  • Comments: This race was awesome. Everything was very well done (reg, communication, expo, race). And the support out of the course was incredible. I've never had so many strangers cheer me on by name. It was such a positive experience!

  • Comments: The race was really fun and well run. I'd come back and do it again. I see now, why, after 30 years and several marathons, this is the only marathon my dad ever gushes about. It was really nice.

  • Comments: I had a lot of fun hanging out with other BT'rs and finishing my 1st mary. Even though it hurt like hell, I'm SUPER EXCITED to do another. Amen, its over. I'm racing another in the warm weather!

  • Comments: I thought that the race was very well run, well supported, and enjoyed the course and the entire experience. The race shirt was very nice (Brooks running shirt, not T-Shirt) and I was given a nice finishers medal and finishers running hat (which I will wear, because it is attractive). I would highly recommend this race for a first marathon or for trying to get a PR.

  • Comments: I really like this race as it is my hometown race. Well organized, lots of volunteers, lots of water stops! It is just a friendly, small town race. My only complaint is that they ran out of marathon shirts on Saturday afternoon. They say they will mail me one, but I don't understand how that happened. Oh well, I will run it again for the third year in a row in 2008. :)

  • Comments: Great course, expo, organization etc. I didn't mind the cool temperature. Subtracting the wind and adding a 3:15 pace group would have made it ideal.

  • Comments: Fun race. I will try to make this local race an annual tradition. I enjoy running a race along this route as it is where I do most of my long training run. Great volunteers along the course and great post party with beer and stew (although I missed the party as I was looking for my girls).
