  • Comments: Great race, well organized. We received a nice long sleeved tech tee at packet pickup and at the finish a hat and really cool finishers blanket. All the aid stations were properly staffed, never ran out of anything. Some bands and DJ's with lots of energy along the way and funny signs with silly jokes during the isolated parts. Would fo' sho' race again.

  • Comments: 5 minute delay to start the Full. Felt like a 15 minute delay for the 1/2, but back in Coral 9...who knows exactly. I love J&A events and think everyone should choose them if only doing a few events over the course of a year. Shamrock is my favorite. This was my 5th Shamrock (2 8k's, 2 Half Mary's, and 1 Mary) and I'll be registering for next year's full next week. I was glad to meet up with friend from HS before the race, though he had to leave for DC before Marathon was completed.

  • Comments: I am glad that I have my first stand alone marathon done. Not to sure if I will do another. I really dont enjoy marathon training because running is my least favorite. I was really hoping to beat my IM marathon time by an hour, 49 min isnt to bad. So happy that Kevin did this race with me and got to do his first marathon.

  • Comments: By the time I got to the tent refreshment stations were closing down. TNT had 6 coaches out during the race during the second half they would run/walk along side some times for a mile or more. Last 6 miles I walked along with another TNT member to the finish. Great support. First race I've been in with any significant spectators, their cheering helped my continue along.

  • Comments: This was my first marathon, so I don't have a great base of knowledge on how these things are supposed to be run, but I thought the support before, during, and after the race was phenomenal. Tons of volunteers with tons of stuff (water, gatorade, shirts, post-race food and activities).

  • Comments: This group always does an amazing job on their races. Super organized, grat volunteers and great swag. I got a really cool hat at the end and a finisher's shirt. Lots of food, drink and beer. Although I had no interest in walking through the sand to the beer/stew tent.

  • Comments: Since there were 4k entrants on this race, we decided to pass on the tent facilities bc it was insanely crowded. Plus we could get beers and food anywhere.

  • Comments: Great race by J&A as usual. Love all of the extras: race bag, tech shirt (that actually fits!) finishers long sleeve shirt, awesome finishers running hat, finishers medal that open beers, post race beer/food/concert (that I missed out on but looked like fun!) Missed the space blankets at the end and wasn't sure about the Carb Boom gels but overall very happy with the aid stations and porta potties.

  • Comments: I was very pleased with the race, there was water when I needed it, there were bathrooms very often and the volunteers were very friendly and helpful. the chute felt very long at the finish and they didn't give us much water at the end up other than that it was a great race.

  • Comments: I loved this race, it is an outstanding value and superbly run. It is a wonderful first marathon for anyone that is close enough. There are lots of extras and finishing gifts that make it worth every dollar. There are so many volunteers its almost overwhelming. After the halfway point there is a water stop at every single mile. Definitely put this race on your list if you can.

  • Comments: Overall a very good race. Very crowded but field felt slower overall than Baltimore. What may because the half started an hour earlier and runs the back half. Therefore (unlike Baltimore) you the two raced don't merge. Only thing I didn't like was how the course was squeezed into a single lane at several parts. The made it difficult to keep up with the pace group because people kept trying to move up and stay with the pace leaders. Obviously I've never run with a pace group again but it felt like the people never thinned out.

  • Comments: This is the second year I have done this race. It is a great race, very well organized and very well supported. There are only two stretches where there are not wall to wall supporters. I really liked running the 8k on Sat and the marathon on Sunday. Makes for a very cool weekend :) I like this race, but next year I may do the new Tobacco Road marathon that is a new race at home.

  • Comments: Weather was great race day, but day beofre and day after were bad. Day after race the wind was 20 mph steady. It could have been a real factor in the race had it occurred on raceday as we would've had to run 10 miles straight into that wind.

  • Comments: This was a great race, held at a great town at the perfect time of the year, weatherwise. There is a lot of St. Patty Day spirit, and the crowds were awesome.
