  • Comments: A fun race overall. This is my third time doing this one and will likely do it again. My wife finally got the full in the books after her two previous attempts, so that in itself is a win.

  • Comments: A little on the warm side, but ran a good race, esp considering ran Disney two weeks ago. Legs recovering nicely by night time.

  • Comments: It was a big race turned average with how it was run. Why people would come from all over for this I have no Idea. except it was Miami which dont do much for most of us living in the rest of FL. Good day with friends, least that happened well. Miami can keep its "Miami Famous" from here on out !!

  • Comments: Excellent course. GREAT VOLS!!! Aide stations were a bit busy for the first 12.8 with 1/2 and full runners. Would Def. do this again in the future

  • Comments: Good race overall. Race was a bit late getting started waiting for the police to clear the course. The course was beautiful. The bridges weren't too bad, we just had basically eliminated hills from our training runs because we thought the course was totally flat. Had we kept our normal hilly training runs, it wouldn't have been that big of a deal. The grates on the 2 drawbridges were a little rough on the feet. Volunteers were awesome! Spectators were awesome! Would definitely consider doing again down the road after I get a taste of a few more different courses.

  • Comments: This was a great race, the water stops were frequent and well manned, never had any trouble getting water and gatoraide. They offered other things but I didn't partake in any of the gels, oranges, or other items. The only thing I didn't like on the course were the open grate lift bridges, they seemed to be an easy spot to catch a toe and stumble if you weren't really careful going across them.

  • Comments: Great race with a lot of spectators despite the early start (6am.) The weather was amazing although a little humid. I would do this race again but maybe just the half. One problem though is that a lot of slow people were in front of me and my first mile was 8'30 when I needed to do 7'30. Why do you go in the front if you're going to walk?? I will never understand this. The finish is great with a lot of people cheering.
