  • Comments: 2 Seconds. That is all I needed to win. But, hell, I had a great race. It was a ton of fun and a great way to start the season. With a TT start, there's no way really for me to have known to start sprinting 2 seconds earlier, or not to have let the dude pass me on the swim (personally, I think it was the sportsman-like thing to do). This is a fun, low-key event run by a great company.

  • Comments: This is my favorite "small" sprint race. Really like the area and the course.

  • Comments: Course was hard, but it was short, so it balanced. Police were late to the race so we started late.

  • Comments: I love this race. A lot of friendly participants and volunteers. Great barbecue lunch afterwards. The awards ceremony is always a little difficult to hear, the PA system isn't very good. Individual sport ranks are based on women participants only. Overall rank 92/213

  • Comments: I enjoyed this race, I just wish I could have run faster. I am so going to get it next year!!!!!!! Shooting for top three!

  • Comments: I love small races and consider this to be one of my favorites. It is a great venue, they do a great job controlling traffic and really seem proud to put on a top-notch event.

  • Comments: Would have been a good race for me if I didn't take a wrong turn on the bike. I guess things like that happen. Overall, Setup did a good job with the race, even though it was delayed several times for Thunderstorms, they were able to keep things in control.

  • Comments: I think the rain kept some volunteers away but the rain meant we needed them more than in sunny, dry conditions. Setup runs a great race and the town of Valdese is an Tri friendly town.
