  • Comments: Love this race. It is great to have family around; I know my kids are well cared for while I race, and my husband always helps ease the nerves. Having my son come out and cheer me on at the finish is more than I can ask. Until I am swimming under a minute for a 100 (ha, ha, ha) he will always think I am slacking. I will drive from NJ to do it next year. Enjoy the moms in (slow) motion for the month Dex, and thanks for the incentive on the run.

  • Comments: I really enjoy this event. It was my first tri 4 years ago. THe number of people I've met and enjoy being friends with is great. Thanks you Y and Willie for coming down and cheering me along with a lot of other people along the way. Every time in transition and every turn of the run I heard my name. I have to bow to Mike. But getting closer. I have to run Moms in Motion avatar for month since sis beat me on the run. Now look for a Doggy Du next year.

  • Comments: I loved this course, even though it was my first one and I don't have anything to compare it to. It was everything I could have imagined my first triathlon to be.

  • Comments: Great race, though it would be nice to be able to get into the transition area in the 2 hours before the race starts, or at least have a secure area to keep stuff you might need to use then. Warmer water would be nice, too :).

  • Comments: A good race as usual. They were laser focused on getting the waves started on time this year and it worked. Very impressive. The course improvements over the years are working well. Very good management and security in transition. I don't understand why they were yelling at people to get bags out of the transition area and literally threatening over a megaphone that if you have a bag in transition it might not be there when you finish the race. What are you supposed to do with your gear bag? Bring it back to your car? The parking isn't close. That just created stress and confusion that no one needed literally minutes before transition closes. Disallowing 5 gallon buckets makes sense, those can roll and be a hazard. But gear bags? The food was so-so, which was surpring. It's usually much better. I have one other way it could be improved: faster results online. That's really a Score-This thing. They're a top notch race production company but they really are slow about getting race

  • Comments: I had a blast at this race, and I was thrilled to be able to do it with my brother and get his guidance on all the little ins and outs. The most disappointing part was that my body crashed on me in the run. I hope to be able to fix that for next year. Although secretly I hoped I could go a little faster, I am happy with my time, and looking forward to next year!

  • Comments: Of course this was the best race ever, it was my FIRST! Though it really seemed well organized to me. I like the scorethis! people. And you couldn't ask for a more beautiful day weatherwise. I am a happy camper today. I woke up today slow and fat and now I'm a SLOW FAT TRIATHLETE! And to BTers, I love you guys. Thanks so much for all your support. Especially christris.

  • Comments: It will be a while before I feel good about this race. It is a PB but not by much. I'm taking this week off from training. I have next weekend with my bother away fishing and drinking in the 1000 Islands. Really need to start packing. I have a du on the 21st October. I appriciate the company of my follow BTer's and master swimmers. My sisiter finishing her first tri strong is a good thing. Congrates to Bob and Kam for placing in there AG's. Anyone else who did too. Thanks to Julie and Mikes hospitality and to those who bought raffle tickets.

  • Comments: It took the guys on the motorcycle 30 minutes before they came and asked if I was injured. They drove by me twice before they stopped even though I was trying to wave them down (I knew I didn't have a tube and didn't really want to stop another racer for one). Good thing I wasn't hurt. The volunteer who did come with a van eventually was incredibly nice.

  • Comments: A bit unorganized, some confusion about swim waves and things ran a little behind. Parking was a bit far away it seems. I don't really know, it was my first one.

  • Comments: This was a great race for me. Yoshi and Will were there. Got to hang with many BTers. The run course is much improved from last year. Felt it was well organized. I can't believe my buddy from swimming did a Oly. I so wanted to race him again this year. I beat Chad by 24 seconds I hope he doesn't mind. We both moved up in the overall ranking and AG's. Having support and friendship of the Bt crowd is wonderful. Thanks to all the volunteer.

  • Comments: Thought things at the beginning were confusing. "What do you mean I can't park my bike until I get marked? Where do I get marked? Who can answer my I'm not a male! question?" But, it was also my very first time at this race and only my 2nd tri ever, so probably just my ignorance of things didn't help.

  • Comments: The only down parts were there wasn't any water for a good portion of the run, seems someone missed setting up one of the water stations about the 1 mile mark. Only other down side were the speed bumps towards the end of the bike and the distance calculation.

  • Comments: Need to work on transitions. Bike was a little disappointing. Swim really good. Happy with Run. Needed to eat something before run. Water is all that is needed or 50/50 sports drink. No sore the next day.
