  • Comments: It was a good race. The award ceremony drug out. They had a bunch of give-a-way stuff but the announcer was so unorganized that people were leaving. We ended up leaving before he finished. We might have won something cool but had to get back to the hotel to shower and check out before noon. Besides I wanted one of those beers out of my cooler.

  • Comments: I walked up to the massage table and told they were closed. The race was still going on. I walked by it again to check my times and they had two people on the tables...one was NOT even a racer and the other was a man who was not around when I tried to get one. PISS POOR!!

  • Comments: First race and it was a fun atmosphere with everyone cheering each other on and giving words of encouragement. Heard some complaints that the sponsor site didn't make facilities available, i.e. people who had long drives home couldn't shower, but we didn't have those issues and found the experience very enjoyable. Good time!

  • Comments: I was steady throughout the entire race, but need to get faster on bike because it is GAME ON!!! Overall good experience for a first Tri. I'm hooked! Next Tri Scheduled for Sepatember 12 in open water! Woo hoo!!!

  • Comments: For my first triathlon...I had a lot of fun...and I was really proud of myself for finishing. I'm not too happy with my times...but my goal was to finish - and I did.

  • Comments: Fantastic first race. I couldn't have been more excited. I knew I couldve done better, but I finished comfortably and better than I thought I would. During the run, all i could remember is BT'er preaching, "Just have fun." So thats what I did. I was cheesing at everyone I passed, It was great! Thanks to all of you who helped and encouraged along the way. I'm a triathlete, B*#ches!! (my overall ranks are just for the males, thats the way it was reported. I guess thats normal)

  • Comments: Set-Up always does a good job with volunteers and aid stations and post race food and in general everything is well organized on race day. But the run course wasn't the greatest. Had a great time though and met Cletuspapa and his family.
