Woo Hoo!!! I had to repeat week 6 3 times, but I got it done! Now I have to figure out how to keep the momentum up for doing push-ups because I don't want to lose everything I've gained these last 8 weeks CONGRATS!!!! You give me hope that it can be done after all! Thank you! Yes, you can do it! It may take a little more than 6 weeks, but what's the hurry anyway. Just look how far you've come already! |

Based on my 50 pushups from Sunday, I was only supposed to do column one, but I did column two in order to get somewhere in the next couple of weeks and I was actually able to complete day one! YEAH!! Great job!!! I think that first day of long sets is the hardest. Keep up the good work! |

I may have to get some of those push up grips and see if they help. I wonder if they would let me try them in the store before I buy them. Have you tried doing the pushups on your fists? That way your wrists are straight and in a stonger position. No, but I will try it out the next time. |

I am repeating Week 1 until I can do even one pushup all the way down and all the way up. I can do several going about halfway down, but man, it is hard. So, having to repeat Week 6 three times seems pretty gosh darn good to me. |

I just finished week 2 . column 2 doing military style ones. Gee, it doesn't get easier.... Wow! Did you do the girlie 100 in the six weeks or did it take you longer (like me)? Also, did you go one week from doing the 100 to the next week starting out with the military one? Do you have any words of advice for us that fantasize about getting through the girlie 100 and then moving right on to military style? |

It took me about 8 weeks because I would get sidetracked. I went right into week 1 of the militaries. I am going slow though so I am just starting week 3 now. No words of advise other than, If I can do it.. ANYONE can. |

Member 40 MA | Subject: RE: 100 pushups in 6 weeks Congrats to all who have completed the challenge already!! And to those still working towards it I know you'll get there. You've all inspired me to give this a try. I am just starting week one w/ an intital test of 14 pushups. I have recruited my brother and some other friends to do this with me and help keep me accountable, however so far I'm the only one who has done more than the initial test. Granted most of them are starting at somewhere around 40 pushups. I'm really excited to hit 100. Back when I used to do pushups more regularly I think my max was 50. We are also going to do the 200 situp challenge. I was wondering if anyone here had tried that yet? Well good luck and keep working hard! Rachel |

Master 1632 Almost Canada, WA | Subject: RE: 100 pushups in 6 weeks Ok, I've been a total slacker ~ again! Don't worry Kat, I won't leave ya hanging...I'm getting back into the flow if it kills me. I did some generic sets of push ups (not following the challenge) last night just to see how I felt and I'm saddened to say that I have lost quite a bit of my push ups somewhere so I'm back to find and reclaim them! Welcome to the newcomers!! I'm starting to think, at the rate I'm going, I'll be on this forum until the end of time. Bob ~ you still around these parts? |
