Subject: Confusion: Garmin Connect vs Training Peaks??Totally confused here. I did a Half-Iron Aquabike last month and used my Garmin 305 during the bike segment with cadence sensor, ect. I downloaded the race file into Garmin Connect and into Training Peaks websites. Both websites have same race distance and time, and same avg speed. But....when it comes to elevation and calories burned, totallly different.
Garmin Connect has 931ft of elevation change with 4710 calories burned.
Training Peaks has 3271 ft of elevation change with 2449 calories burned.
Am I missing something stupid here, or am I just the stupid one? Which one is correct?
I have had issues off-and-on with Garmin Connect, so I have been trying out the Training Peaks website and downloading into there instead. Not sure of which one to go with now?
Any similar issues or suggestions?
