I've been watching, but wasn't so happy that it was a few degrees warmer on Saturday then it has been. I love cold.

78 sounds awesome.  I'm worried about getting cold in the latter hours of the run, and haven't decided what to put in special needs in case of cold.  For you Florida folks, how fast does it cool off after the sun sets?

I'm not from Florida but have done IMFL.  The sun goes down REALLY early, like 4:45-5:00pm.  It does cool down but I ran with just a tri-top on and was fine in 2006 (the cold year).  You can always put a long sleeve shirt in special needs, if needed.  Tie it around your waist if you need later.  The weather does not look like you will need much, even after sun goes down.

I was a late finisher in 06 when it was cold and I had a long sleeve tech top and a wind vest and I was fine.....until I stopped at least   Last year I was there but not racing and had shorts and a long sleeve tech shirt and was fine.

We are having a nice liitle storm blow thru FL today so NEXT WEEKEND the weather will be PERFECT

You can see the hourly forecast for Panama City at:
http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?w0=t&w2=hi&w3=sfcwind&w4=s...

Right now, there's VERY LITTLE drop off it Temps. For example, from 4pm to 10pm tonight (Fri.) Temp is forecast to drop by only 3 degrees. As the date approaches you can use this to plan accordingly.
Happy Racing, we'll be watching online!

The sun won't actually go down until 5:45 - 6:00 this year since daylight savings time doesn't start until 11/2. And, that gives us an extra hour of sleep Sunday morning.
