Teammates:

Where are you for the week?

Did a double yesterday: 11 miles running + ~10 miles on the bike (all I could get in before dark - had to buy new tires).

Endurance swim today, brick tomorrow (20 mile ride + 3-4 mile tempo run) and a ~30 mi. ride Sunday morning at the crack of dawn.

I'm having a hard time getting back into my routine after my trip. I did 10 miles on the bike Tues. and swam yesterday then I tried to run this morning, but there was nobody at the gym to open the doors. I know I should've run around the neighborhood, but I go with a friend who doesn't run and I felt guilty for oversleeping the last two days (she won't go if I don't go) so I didn't just want to leave her standing there. Anyway, my plans for tomorrow got cancelled so I'll be able to get in a 2-3 mile run and a 10-15 mile bike then. I'll swim Sat. morning and I've got a 20 mile bike ride scheduled for Sun. - it's all good!

I've done an 1:30 so far this week (an hour of that was to make up for next week's vacation) and I'm scheduled for 2:30 this weekend. I think this will be my first 2hr ride on Saturday and we should have great weather for it!

Was not able to get my swim in yesterday, but am planning my late afternoon around a 20 mi/4 mi brick.

This will be the first ride on the new Michelin Meganium tires I had to install the other day, so I'll see how they ride vs. the Vredestein Fortezza that came with the bike.

GO TEAM!

PS: Btw, if we lose, then everyone has to learn and sing "Hotty Toddy" (that ought to be incentive enough to ride an extra mile or two! )

Ok, I squeezed in 9.2 on the bike today - didn't make the whole 10 because of road construction, but I beat the big black cloud that was following me the whole time. I've got 20 planned for Sunday which should get me to 33% of my goal. Does that make up for last week? Where should we be by the end of the weekend?

I have done 1:50:00 so far this week but I'll get some more biking time in this wkd. Scheduled to ride at least 2 hrs on Sunday. We'll see if I will be able to squeeze a short ride after my 10K tomorrow. I know I'm eating a big bacon breakfast tomorrow after the race though...
