Nicole Cooke was awesome.  I thought she had lost it in the final corner when she dropped of the back and again when she seemed to loose a little speed in the sprint, but she had the speed to finish

Agreed.  I didn't think she'd make it.  That looked like one tough race with the conditions yesterday.  I can't imagine riding through that downpour.

Apparently it was part of her race plan to back off going round that last corner in case somebody fell.  Seems a bit risky to me but all that matters is that she won

For the amount of money you guys seem to have spent on your cycling team and tech development and stuff I hope not... i cant wait to see Cavendish! and Hoy!!! mmmm...

also what was cool today on the bbc was an interview with anita longsbrough the previous british gold medal winner and her husband hugh porter, the cycling commentator during the men's cycling points race.

Yes I believe you are right about Janet Evans having  windmill stroke.  heard it last somewhere.
