4.65 mi run this am. that is all. oh wait, finally pulled the trigger, payed the $$ and signed up for first OLY Sept 1st. Didnt get quite as far into the 16 wk swim focused Oly plan as I had hoped but feeling like I can do the distance. I'm pretty sure Ill survive the swim. Bike is ok, can always go slow, Its that 10K afterwards thats really got me spooked. Planning on doing 2-3 short bricks between now and then as per plan. Anyone who knows WTF is up want to look at my logs and give me some encouragement is welcome...nay sayers not so much since Im doing it regardless. Yeeeeahhhh!
You should be fine. You have at least one 9 mile run in there (that I saw ), and all of your bike/swims are around or above the needed distances. A few bricks are always a good idea, just be sure to keep them easy. During the race keep it nice and relaxed. You will do great! Good Luck! |
