Right now, in IM training, really 9-10 would be shortest weekly "long run" in a recovery week. Other times, in an off season rest week, I might not go longer than 7 miles for a weekend long run. Rarely don't do a run of at least that length, other than in the week leading up to a mary or HM. x2 doing IM end of August and on my recovery weeks I run 9 currently. Back in January what was long and what was long on recovery week was much shorter. Now even on recovery weeks I normally run 19+ miles. |
