No, not tri related..... I wish.

My fiance is coming to visit this week so I'm planning a surprise get away to a local spa.  We're going to drive down in the morning, spend all day at the spa, spend the night, spend the next day at this awesome indoor water park and then come home.  Here's the delema...I have two options.

option 1: Spend the night at the spa in one of their rooms.  The rooms are fairly nice, but simple.  Grand total for this option:  $245

option 2: Spend all day at the spa, then go to another nearby hotel and stay in their jacuzzi suite.  total cost: $280

So ladies..... If someone were doing this for you, would you rather have the convience of having a room at the spa, or would you rather have the jacuzzi suite?  Besides the room, the two options are identical.

I'm a dude but trying to put my shoes in a female, I think i'd like option 1.  Because the convenience to go up the room whenever you want, plus you can then go down to get another spa treatment whenever you want.

Yeah, I like option 1 for the same reason. You can apply the difference on a nice bottle of Champagne and some fresh strawberries.

I like how you think.  I just might have to do that.  Any other words of wisdom?

Just when you thought it was simple ... I'm voting for option 2.

At the spa I go to there are bathrooms and locker rooms and relaxation rooms everywhere.  You don't need a room to go to.  Besides, once you've been pampered from after breakfast to before dinner, what's left to be done?

IMHO, spend the day at the spa and use their amenities.  Then head out and hit the jacuzzi suite.  Have a great time!

This actually was my wetsuit fund, but I haven't seen her since Christams, won't see her again until  August and it is our anniversary.  I seem to have a much easier time spending money on her then on myself.

Option 1. I've always thought jacuzzi suites were overrated.

#1. Don't spas have jacuzzis anyway? The only difference is that you can't be nekkid (presumably).

yes the spa has two... and that would be the difference... although this is the off season and they aren't all that busy...

#1 shows you put more thought into it and are trying to be original.  The jacuzzi suit is overdone and overrated.

I'm sorry autumn..... It's really hard to take advice of a romantic nature while that avatar of yours is staring me in the face....

I think I'm going to get a nice bottle of Champagne, some chocolate covered strawberries, maybe a bag or two of rose pedals, some whipped..... wait  you guys don't get those details.
