June Bugs

Hi Team!! 

Morning team.
Nice to see folks I know and new ones as well.

Any ideas for names?  So far the only thing I can come up with associated with June are June Bugs and they aren't very attractive. 



Maybe it would scare the competition off?

By the way, I don't mind being captain.  If anyone else is interested, they are welcome to.  I do think it's important that everyone inspires each other, but I often will go through everyone's logs at least once per week and compare it to the spreadsheet anyway.

Very exciting...my first challenge.  Was a slug on the run during May, so I really need this.  Will not let the team down, although I think I run like a bug.  Fortunately set a mileage not a style goal.

I vote against June Bugs..they are so ICKY and annoying!!  (But I won't be a big party pooper if everyone else disagrees with my vote!)

June is my birthday month - so we have to win!!   It'd be an AWESOME birthday present from my new BT friends!!  Especially since this is my first challenge.

I looked up "facts about June" and the one thing it reminded me of was this month has the longest day of the year.  (Summer solstice)  What about something in regards to that?  The Longest <something - can't think of anything good> ----  Running longer than the summer solstice. . .!?!?

I got my marathon training plan today.  It has us at 58 miles for the month, so that's my goal.  I'm off to update the spreadsheet now.

No good ideas playing on June as a theme, but bouncing around ideas on "two" came up with Little Deuce Coupe

This stuff is not  my forte, but I do kinda like The Beach Boys....especially in the summer.

I'm glad to see some familiar faces and I'm looking forward to meeting everyone else.

For a team name associated with "longest" how about "Long Train Running"?

We are definitely behind the "post count challenge".  Team 1 is jumping right in!

There's always LSD (long slow distance) running.

Happy to be here....my goal is 50 miles. I'm coming back from a bum knee in April, but it seems to be on the right path now. I'm not feeling very creative, so I'll go with the majority rule for name.

What? You want your team name to be "Majority Rule?"

Actually, since Kristen is on your team, you should go with something like "Thumbs Up Runners"

(Take a look at her running pictures, and you'll see what I mean.)

(BTW, on my run today, I noticed my thumbs were high enough to qualify as "hitchhiking requests.")
