Is there such thing as biking to much?  I enjoy riding 7 days a week regardless of my plan.  Obviously on "days off" from the bike I'm not pushing myself but just riding.  All input welcome: Side note how often do you ride?

I also ride 7 days a week. Of course not fast on my off days but just a cruise for a few miles to enjoy it. I also use my bike to get to work and use it as a little sprint workout. I pace with the traffic on a two mile straight away at 30-35mph for fun. I just love being on my bike.

I just was not sure if that is to much.  I'm still new to this whole process, and for some reason I don't get sore.  I also cant get enough not up to the 35mph pace haha but hopefully will be able to play with cars soon.

I think the intensity of biking can be kept low enough to not constitute 'training'.

I had to ride to work in Houston on my bike.  In order to keep from breaking a sweat I had to pedal very gently.

Too much for what?? I think it depends on what your goals, training background, and fitness level are.... If you're in triathlon for fun and fitness (like me) then do what whatever the heck you want! If you love to ride, then RIDE!! If you have serious time goals for the swim and run portions, and your riding is impacting your ability to do quality swim & run training, then cut back on your days riding, or make sure a few of those days are very easy effort.

How long (time and/or distance) and at what intensity are you riding every day? If you're riding 50 miles/day - then it might be too much. If its < 20 miles/day, it probably wouldn't impact your other training that much (except for time) and could be fine (depending on how long you've been riding, etc.)

I commute to work on a commuter bike (not my tri or road bike) almost every weekday.  Sometimes I push it just for fun, but mostly the effort is so easy and short (and stop-and-go) that it isn't really training.  I don't count it as training, and I don't feel that it impacts my training negatively at all.

For tri training, I don't think you can ride too much unless it results in low volume on the run/swim and those are your weaknesses. For enjoyment (which is far more important to me), I don't think you can ride too much unless it ceases to be enjoyable.

Yeah, I was going to say... riding it great... as long as your swim and run training doesn't suffer. If you can ride 7 days a week and still put in 2-3 days in the pool and 3-4 days of running... more power to ya! I know I can't fit all that training in together! As it is, I do run/swim days and bike/run days just to get it all in.

I know for me, I get bored doing just ONE activity day after day, that's why tri training is perfect for me. I wouldn't want to ride 7 days a week... if I wanted to do that... I would race my bike... not do tri's.
