Was coming here to post the same thing. Saw it this morning..2 friends of mine both have family in London that they cannot reach. Cell service has been shut down to avoid more coordinated attacks and land lines are jammed...This brings back the feelings of 2001

Very weird being here, listening to the reports coming in and hearing the sirens outside. Everyone's been told to stay inside and security on our buildings been heightened...think we've had the worst of it though.

Bleh. I have no words.

CNN.com has video.

I am a CERT member - Community Emergency Response Team. It is an initiative of Citizen Corps (was originally part of FEMA). I feel less helpless knowing that I can be of use in an emergency.

I just heard about this on my way to work. Just got through sitting in my car and crying like a baby. I just can't believe it. My prayers are with all of you in England and I feel just as if it happened right here. May God bless you.

Woke up to it this morning... And reealized that my wife is ending her trip to Europe with some family this weekend in London.  Had to get up and check the itinerary, and then she called.... phew.  They are just outside London now, and are supposed to get there tomorrow.

My heart goes out to everyone there.  It was heartbreaking watching the medics give CPR to one of the injured this morning....

The world is a better place by having the UK on this earth. You know what made me bawl like a baby today? The local citizens rallying around and bringing tea to the volunteers and victims.

Talk about keeping your head when all others.....

God bless all who've been touched by this barbarity.

I hadn't seen this but thinking about it makes me smile. How terrible British. I'm amazed how calm people are and how so many are committed to carry on as normal and not allowing terrorists to affect them. The way Londoners have reacted makes me proud to be British. I think my favourite quote from yesterday is "We will fight in our trains, we will fight in our buses but we, Londoners, will never surrender!” For those who don't know this is a parody of a famous World War 2 speech.

The support from people all round the world is quite amazing but I think there is only one response Londoners can give to such an atrocity. They must work together to put on the best Olympics in history in 2012.

The news reports this morning say that London public transit is busier than usual as Londoners show they are not afraid. My hat is off to John Bull.

Thoughts and prayers to all those affected by these sad events.

I've had the distinct pleasure to travel to, and work with a number of Brits in London, Oldham, and Manchester...I can think of no other people to stand and work side by side with.  It was good to see the massive public support getting on public transportation today.  It was also not surprising....never have I known a people and culture who "dig in their heels" or in this case resolve more than the Brits.  Cheers.

I, too, would like to express my sympathy to those affected. I just can't understand how these COWARDS can be so empty of feeling. How can someone care so little about another human being as to want to blow them up? I'm sure Scotland Yard and other law enforcement agencies will catch these satans. London has been through this before and survived, and I'm sure you'll do the same again.
