Its like having a toddler running around, and quite frankly, may need more attention paid. The wife & I are *shocked* to discover the kids are more interested in having a play pal than actually caring for a dog. Anyway, here's a picture of the 'lil gal at 7 weeks old. She is now 9 weeks, and getting bigger by the day it seems. Her name is Summer, and she is a Goldendoodle.

The Jaws of Death!

Or so I kept telling my kids when they left toys out. They'd come back to most of the toy with suspicious teeth marks all over it.

She's a cutie! I remember when we brought Buttercup home (a yellow lab, now 5 1/2 years old). The thing I kept telling myself is its just like kids - you go through all the phases: no sleep, potty training, terrible twos, teen years, etc...just (fortunately) at a much faster pace than with our kids. It's hard the first few months - but I wouldn't trade it for anything. She has been such a wonderful addition to our family. I can't imagine life without her now. Have fun!

We pay the kids 25 cents a pile. After a long winter, they earned enough $$ for a trip to the American Girl store. Totally worth it for me!

So cute!

Reminds me of Duggan who we watched for a month or so.

Of our 5 kids only one is good a picking up dog poop other two will be try and avoid it as much as they can.  When we have puppies all three girls and I picked up the pool out of the liter box.

Our Kona was bred today and yesterday. Hoping she'll have a big liter of Labradoddles end of August.

Are they your teeth marks? You can be honest here, this is a judgment free place...

(That's what I used to tell my daughter when she would report that there was poop in the house.)

If you want to prevent cleaning crap in the yard start taking her to the designated spot now every time.  I did that with Blue ( a BMC) when I brought him home in Feb at 7 wks.  Even with the snow he knew where he was supposed to go and I haven't cleaned a pile up or have an dead grass spots in my yard.  Also, plenty of chew toys prevent furniture damage.

Love Labradoodles.  Our is an Australian Labradoodle.  Lola... still a puppy with those darn little needle teeth..

I loves me some puppy breath! Sweetness all around!

My choco lab, KC, and I are planning to adopt a puppy this winter, another lab for sure. Can't wait. If we end up with a yellow, her name will be Sunshine, so we can have KC and the Sunshine Band! Ha!
