molto veloce mama  9311   |  Subject: you know you're old when...i had a couple reminders this weekend... + instead of feeling yucky for 2-3 hours the morning after staying out late and drinking beer, you actually feel yucky for next 2-3 days. + when asked by a fellow bike shop employee if you've worked at any other shops, and you say 'yea, about 15 years ago' they reply 'oh....i was 5 then.' |

The girl tore his stub, he went first, then she asked me for ID - of course I was flattered (I am 28 - do I seriously look 17???). My boyfriend was pissed, and immediately started complaining about his gray hairs that apparently make him look much older than 28. Hee hee. |

When you have to explain to your friends' kids that "aerial" is not a character from the Littlest Mermaid, but how we used to get a t.v. signal before the (cable) wire came in through the wall. My husband still laughs about this story. What's sad is that we used a large outside antenna to get our t.v. signal until only 2 years ago when we finally got satellite. Actually still use it for the rare times the satellite goes out. |
